Esta semana a parte de jugarse los Juegos Olímpicos en Río también se juega en el PGA Tour el penúltimo torneo de la temporada antes de empezar los play-offs, el John Deere Classic donde tendremos una semana más a Jon Rahm tratando de levantar su primer título como profesional. Esta edición respecto a la anterior reparte 100.000 dolares más llegando este año a los 4.8 millones de dolares en premios, de los cuales 868.600 serán para el ganador, el defensor del título es Jordan Spieth que no estará este año en el TPC Deere Run de Illinois.
