Siendo uno de los torneos más lucrativos de la temporada, el US Open repartirá este año un montante en premios de diez millones de dolares (8.909.479 de euros) siendo esta cifra un millón de dolares superior a la edición anterior, así que el que gane este año el Abierto de los Estados Unidos se embolsará un suculento cheque de 1.8 millones de dolares (1.603.706 €). La peculiaridad que tiene este evento es que absolutamente todos los jugadores cobrarán, independientemente de si superan o no el corte, pero solo les vamos a mostrar los premios de los 50 primeros puestos.
